Hotel Resol Trinity Kyoto, Kyoto

The hotel room is by far the best one we had ever stayed in our whole Japan trip as it is quite spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. It was surprisingly large, had a very pleasant faux ryokan theme, very neat, and beautifully set up similar to Ryokan style. The only downside is that the rooms overlook the inside of the hotel instead of outside.

I found the hotel to be in a great central location, offering easy access to all the exciting spots in Kyoto while also providing a peaceful environment. The rooms, although small compared to other cities we visited in Japan, were impeccably clean, comfortable, and exuded the charming essence of Japanese culture. The service was top-notch, with staff reminding us of the hotel rules but always going the extra mile to assist us and keeping our luggage safe. The dining experience, although lacking variety, offered delicious options daily. The facilities were well-maintained and contributed to a pleasant stay.

The room is very dark and gloomy, overheated, and could barely fit a small luggage. On the bright side, the buffet-style dining was consistently restocked, and the menu was awesome. The public bath was a nice touch for a very relaxing stay. Overall, the hotel provided a mix of positive and negative experiences.
