The hotel offers spacious rooms that remind you of old town Kyoto, well-furnished with gadgets, but lacking space for luggage. The service was a mix of friendliness and language barriers. The location is slightly away from the main areas but provides a quiet retreat close to popular spots. The dining options vary in quality, with good value for money. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very clean and well-furnished with gadgets, but lacked space for luggage. The unique rice paper curtain added a nice touch, but the room felt cramped due to the mounted seating furniture. The atrium location meant no view or natural light.

The hotel had small rooms with a simple Japanese design, making them feel cozy; however, they were on the smaller side. The dining offered a mix of Japanese and international options, though it wasn't to my taste.

My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the rooms were smaller than expected and the reception area seemed unnecessary, the view over the mountains was a plus. The seating furniture mounted to the wall made the room feel even tinier. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating staff. The location was convenient, close to transport and attractions but away from the city's hustle and bustle, although dining options were a bit limited. The facilities were decent overall.

The hotel room is by far the best one we had ever stayed in our whole Japan trip as it is quite spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. It was surprisingly large, had a very pleasant faux ryokan theme, very neat, and beautifully set up similar to Ryokan style. The only downside is that the rooms overlook the inside of the hotel instead of outside.

I found the hotel to be in a great central location, offering easy access to all the exciting spots in Kyoto while also providing a peaceful environment. The rooms, although small compared to other cities we visited in Japan, were impeccably clean, comfortable, and exuded the charming essence of Japanese culture. The service was top-notch, with staff reminding us of the hotel rules but always going the extra mile to assist us and keeping our luggage safe. The dining experience, although lacking variety, offered delicious options daily. The facilities were well-maintained and contributed to a pleasant stay.

The staff made it a perfect place to stay for the short time we were in Kyoto. The location was awesome, being near Nishiki Market and close to multiple stations on two subway lines and various bus stops. It was a nice walk to Teramachi, a good shopping arcade, Higashiyama Kyoto's shopping street, and Nishiki Kitchen of Kyoto. Although not too far from the Main Street, there was a bit of a walk to the bus and subway stations, but it was in a quiet area.

The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere with very comfortable beds and pillows. It was lovely, but the rooms are small with barely enough space to move around, and there is nowhere to put things that won't be in the way. Compared with other hotels in Japan, the size is a bit tight. The service had Yukai but was a little short and not as friendly as I have experienced at other hotels during my visit to Japan. The location is not too far from Main Street but a bit of a walk to the bus or subway stations. Despite this, the amazing facilities like the onsen make up for it. The room is very dark and gloomy, overheated, and could barely fit a small luggage. On the bright side, the buffet-style dining was consistently restocked, and the menu was awesome. The public bath was a nice touch for a very relaxing stay. Overall, the hotel provided a mix of positive and negative experiences.
